Galveston Seafarer's Center

The Galveston Seafarers Center is a non-profit, inter-religious organization based in Galveston, Texas, dedicated to serving the needs of maritime seafarers who live and work at sea. It offers a welcoming “home away from home” for visiting crew members, providing essential support services and amenities such as free Wi-Fi, telephones, computers, recreational spaces, books, clothing, and refreshments to help seafarers stay connected and comfortable while in port. The center is run with the help of volunteers and caring staff, and also facilitates transportation, package handling, fellowship, and emotional support for sailors far from home.
